a kind of canto

   the echoing tip
   the wood-ash stars
   spread wide
   touching from a distance
   red earth and pouring rain
nausea the wall and other stories
   crossing the water
   burning your boats
   on the road
   all points north
   in the company
   of crows and ravens

Hey! Are you looking into the future and seeing my next Form For All article on spine poems? ;-)

This is actually a very specific way of putting together a cento, and works amazingly well. Great job, and loved the picture too!

As a bibliophile I had to tear my eyes away from the photo then happily learned that was the point. Awesome.
